Huizen, April 29, 2025 - Zig and Xitres, two software vendors for the social and commercial real estate markets, respectively, are joining forces to jointly gain a leading position in the Dutch real estate software market. This strategic combination will allow customers in both market segments to benefit from a more complete end-to-end product offering. Main Capital Partners ("Main") holds a majority stake in both Zig and Xitres and will remain majority shareholder even after the transaction.

Xitres is a Dutch software provider focused on commercial housing, with innovative cloud-based CRM solutions that allow users to digitally manage the entire customer journey during the sales and leasing process. Thereby facilitating efficient communication with potential buyers and tenants. From its headquarters in Hengelo, with over 35 employees, the company has built a prominent position in the Netherlands, serving major property managers such as Vesteda, MVGM and BPD Woningfonds, as well as project developers such as Van Wonen, AM and Van Wijnen. Following Main Capital Partners' investment in July 2024, Xitres acquired Hartje Wonen in February 2025, strengthening its offering for new construction projects and enabling international expansion into the Belgian and German real estate markets.

The acquisition of Xitres marks an important milestone in Zig's strategy to expand into commercial housing. The transaction strengthens Zig with an experienced team and builds on nearly 20 years of Xitres' expertise and knowledge in the commercial real estate sector. Xitres' product offering is complementary and delivers significant value to customers. At the same time, Zig remains committed to its original core market, social housing, with continued focus on unburdening customers and helping their organizations with smart software solutions. The combination should further drive innovation and deliver greater value to clients in both markets.

Finally, the combined group is well positioned to pursue opportunities for internationalization, thanks in part to Zig's 2024 acquisition of German renovation management software company Doozer, which also focuses on the commercial housing market.

Anton Vreugdenhil, CEO of Zig said, "We are pleased to announce the strategic combination of Zig and Xitres, a move that significantly strengthens Zig's position in commercial housing. This partnership allows Zig to offer customers a broader and more integrated product offering, following the introduction of our Zig365 concept earlier this year. This combination is a logical step in our strategy to deliver innovative, end-to-end software solutions for the broader real estate industry."

Martijn Fähnrich, CEO of Xitres: "We are looking forward to the partnership with Zig and the opportunities it offers. Together we form a stronger company that can fully support clients in all core processes of property and lease management in the commercial realm. By combining our solutions, expertise and scale, we are able to accelerate innovation and deliver lasting value to the real estate industry."

Sjoerd Aarts, Managing Partner at Main and Chairman of Zig's Supervisory Board said, "The broader PropTech market is a key focus for Main. The acquisition of Xitres further unlocks the commercial real estate market for Zig and also provides entry points for future (international) growth. The acquisition is the fifth strategic acquisition since our partnership with Zig in late 2021. This step strengthens the foundation of the company, and therefore we look to the future with great confidence to further achieve our growth objectives in the PropTech sector."
